Practical before theoretical

About
HINT Institute is an education and skills organisation focused on human intelligence, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Technology changes quickly. Practical skills, critical thinking and the ability to adapt matter even more.
Most people now use AI at work before anyone has explained it to them. They pick up habits from whatever tool they opened first, with no shared standard for checking output, protecting information or deciding what should stay human.
HINT brings these areas together through accessible, practical and responsible learning for individuals and organisations. The name is deliberate: human intelligence comes first, and new technology serves it.
How we teach
Participants work on their own tasks during a programme. The measure of a session is what someone can do differently the following week.
Specific tools change constantly. We teach the judgement that survives a tool being replaced, then show the current tools as examples.
We spend as much time on what AI gets wrong, and how to catch it, as on what it does well. Overconfidence is the more expensive failure.
Privacy, verification, security and oversight are built into the material rather than added as a closing disclaimer.
Where we operate
HINT is an online institute. Programmes are delivered live to participants wherever they work, and scheduled around their working hours.
On-site delivery is available by arrangement for organisations. Programmes are currently delivered in English.
HINT is new, and we would rather say so than imply a history we do not have.
What we will not do is overstate the organisation. No invented founding year, no borrowed accreditation, no claimed alumni numbers. What we publish about a programme is what that programme actually contains.
If you are considering HINT for your organisation, ask us direct questions and you will get direct answers, including when something is not the right fit.
Tell us what your people need to be able to do, and we will tell you what is realistic.
