Privacy Policy

This page explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It describes what the site actually does, not what a template says it might do.

Who operates this website

This website is operated by HINT Institute. If you have a question about your information, use the contact form and mark it as a privacy request.

What we collect

We collect information in exactly two ways.

1. Information you send us through a form

When you submit an enquiry form, we receive the details you typed into it. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, organisation, role, team size, area of interest, the programme you asked about, and your message.

We also record the date and time of the submission, and we store a record that you ticked the consent box.

2. Anonymous usage statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are read. It is measured without cookies and does not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. We chose it specifically so that visiting this site does not require a cookie decision.

What we do not do

  • We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
  • We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.
  • We do not run automated profiling or automated decision-making on your data.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, and to continue that conversation if it leads to a programme. If your enquiry does not go anywhere, the record simply sits unused until it is deleted.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will do that.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare database, and this website is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider and processes this data on our behalf.

Your requests

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you,
  • correct something that is wrong,
  • delete your details,
  • stop contacting you.

Use the contact form for any of these. We will action it and confirm back to you.

Security

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to stored enquiries is limited to the people who need it to answer you.

Children

This website and our programmes are intended for adults in a professional context. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will change this page. It describes current practice, so it is updated when practice changes rather than on a schedule.
